School Photos Done Different

My goal is to provide a custom, boutique experience to all families attending the schools who have chosen Jamie Macey Photography to photograph their students.

My service is personal and professional. Unlike large, corporate photography operations, I only take on a few, select schools so that I can provide superior customer service and artistic images. But that doesn’t mean you have to compromise on professionalism, quality, or time. I provide a more personal and what I believe to be better experience for both the schools and the families I work with.

My aim is to capture the essence of the children in front of the camera. We will never force a smile. No awkward poses or faces, just the authentic child, on the day. The results are genuine and timeless portraits that are far from the traditional cheesy photos we have become accustomed to with bright flashes and unflattering, busy backgrounds.

FAQ

How many kids can you accommodate?

Groups as small as 20 kids and up to 300 kids. I would be interested in servicing larger schools, reach out and let's discuss your needs.

How does ordering work?

My process is 100% online. Families receive a private gallery link directly from me, so the school never has to collect forms, handle payments, or pass out photo packets.

Can we see more than one pose?

Absolutely! I provide a variety of images for each child so you can choose your favorites.

Can grandparents or extended family order?

Yes — they can order directly from the online gallery.

What time of year do you conduct school photos?

I work with each individual school to schedule shoots any time during the academic year.

Do you use flash?

Only if necessary — my style is based on natural light for a softer, authentic look.

DO YOU PROVIDE CLASS PHOTOS?

Yes! If the school needs class photos we will take them either on photo day or arrange another time to come and take them.

How much does it cost the school?

The school pays nothing — my earnings come entirely from parents who purchase photos. Staff portraits and yearbook files are included at no additional charge.
