For outdoor sessions, especially with active kids, comfort is key. Expect some running, sitting on the ground, and walking.

Tips:

We want to include our pet into the session, is that okay?

Yes, I absolutely adore including family pets in our photo sessions. My only request is that they're well-behaved enough to stay on a leash and pose for a few moments. The moments we capture with pets on camera are truly heartwarming!

What about inclement weather?

Portrait session require flexibility! If it is very hot, very cold, very windy, very rainy, or very snowy we will reschedule to another date. If, however, the weather is tolerable and only a little of one of those things, the show will go on! The weather in Ohio is unpredictable and I cannot guarantee your session will happen on a perfect, sunny day. What I can guarantee is that we will make memorable and beautiful photos whether you are basking in a golden sunset or splashing in puddles.

How long before I receive my photos and how are they delivered?

Expect delivery within 2 weeks. If there's a delay due to a heavy workload, I'll notify you. You'll receive an email with a link to your password-protected online gallery for ordering prints, wall art, and downloading your digital files.

How quickly do we have to choose what to purchase?

Your online gallery will remain open for 14 days after you've viewed the images, allowing ample time to select your desired products.

What If my kids won't stay still?

Some of my most memorable family sessions involve kids being themselves, exploring, and playing. Trust me to guide them through fun activities. Here are some prep tips:

- Feed them well right before your session time.

- If they have a favorite stuffy, allow them to bring it. Some have made gallery appearances!

- I work very fast and try to keep people moving while stopping for group shots in between.

- Your anxiety over your children's behavior SHOWS on camera! Allow me to be the director of the day and focus on engaging and playing with your kids. The result on camera will be well worth it.

I want to look good in my photos, any tips?

-Relax and enjoy the moment. Your mood reflects in your photos, so have fun with your loved ones and let go of any stress about getting everyone together.

-Keep in mind, the camera can't tell a fake laugh from a real one, so laugh freely and often!

-During group shots, focus on the camera, not the kids (unless I request otherwise or it's a candid moment). Sometimes, in group photos, adults unintentionally look away or appear unhappy.
